The District Court of Hinwil ZH has sentenced two alleged organizers of a neo-Nazi meeting in Rüti ZH. It handed down conditional fines of 110 and 100 daily rates.

The judge said on Wednesday that one of the accused had rented the hut. The second was on site the next day to clean up and carry out an inspection with the landlord.

The rent had been arranged under false pretenses. The accused were aware of the band performing. This is clearly right-wing extremist. The judge therefore assumed that the two Swiss nationals could expect criminal statements and approved of them.

The verdicts are not yet final.

The police counted 57 people at the meeting in the Zurich Oberland. Among them were several neo-Nazis known to the police, who were listed by the public prosecutor at the hearing. A local resident had heard anti-Semitic slogans and alerted the police.
