According to the authorities, at least 21 people have been injured in a Russian airstrike on the eastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiv. 17 of them are being treated in hospitals, Mayor Ihor Terekhov announced on Telegram.

There had been several impacts on the premises of a civilian company in the industrial southeast of the city. As a result, a fire had broken out. According to him, the type of weapon used is still being investigated. Originally there was talk of rockets. The district is a good 30 kilometers from the Russian border.

Ukraine has been fending off a Russian invasion for over two and a half years. Ukrainian cities and other civilian objects have repeatedly been the target of Russian attacks.
