The Israeli army is continuing its attacks in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon. Overnight, on the instructions of military intelligence, the air force attacked command centers and a weapons production facility as well as other Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure in the southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital Beirut, Israel's military announced. The area is considered a stronghold of the Shiite militia.

This shows how Hezbollah is systematically anchoring its military infrastructure in civilian areas in Lebanon and thus deliberately endangering the lives of Lebanese civilians, the statement said.
Prior to the attacks, numerous measures were taken to minimize the risk of harm to the civilian population, it added. The inhabitants of the area had been warned of the attacks.
Over the course of the past day, the air force had attacked more than 50 "terror targets", Israel's military added.
In the embattled refugee district of Jabalia in the north of the Gaza Strip, Israeli troops "eliminated" dozens of terrorists and destroyed weapons caches, according to the statement. Terrorists were also neutralized and terrorist infrastructure dismantled in the area around Rafah in the south of the coastal region.
