GM is currently working with the European authorities and politicians on a legal framework for the harmonized introduction of such systems and on the approval of Super Cruise for Europe. According to the manufacturer, Super Cruise is now available on more than one million kilometers of road in North America.

The driver can take their hands off the steering wheel and the car steers itself, but the driver still has to keep an eye on the road. The driver is still responsible in the event of an accident. That is why cameras in the vehicle check whether the driver is looking ahead.
