Coop achieved slightly higher sales in 2024 than in the previous year. Total sales rose to 34.9 billion Swiss francs after 34.7 billion in 2023, as the cooperative group announced on Monday.

Adjusted for currency effects, sales increased by 386 million francs or 1.1 percent.
In retail, Coop's total sales rose above the 20 billion mark to 20.8 billion francs. The Coop supermarkets alone (including Coop.ch) increased net sales by 2.0 percent to 12.1 billion francs and gained market share, according to the figures.
Meanwhile, the Wholesale and Production division, which includes the Transgourmet Group, which operates throughout Europe, the meat processor Bell and Coop's own production facilities, recorded currency-adjusted sales growth of 2.9% to CHF 16.9 billion in 2024. Transgourmet alone generated net sales of 11.5 billion (+1.9%).
Coop will announce details of the profit achieved last year at its annual media conference on February 18.
