Baden-Wuerttemberg Police: Two dead after shots fired in Bad Friedrichshall

According to police, two people have been fatally injured after shots were fired at a company in Bad Friedrichshall in the north of Baden-Württemberg. One person was critically injured. The perpetrator is on the run and a manhunt is underway, a police spokesman said in the evening.

According to the police's initial findings, a masked person entered a company in Siemensstrasse at around 5.45 p.m. and then fired shots. The spokesperson did not provide any further details when asked.

The police wrote on Platform X that a major police operation was currently underway. They said that there was currently no danger to the public.

In a statement, the police wrote that a police helicopter was also deployed.
