Joël Monteiro of Young Boys has been banned for two games for throwing his boot in the match against FC Zurich (0-0).
The Swiss international threw his boot away after a penalty was not awarded and (probably unintentionally) hit Zurich's Mirlind Kryeziu. A two-match ban for a direct red card is in principle the minimum penalty.
Young Boys will also be without Filip Ugrinic, who was yellow-carded for the fourth time this season in Zurich, for Sunday's home game against Lugano.
