The Los Angeles Lakers won 115:113 in San Francisco against the Golden State Warriors thanks to a lay-up by Austin Reaves one second before the final buzzer.
Stephen Curry had put the Warriors back in front of the Lakers on the previous play with his eighth three-pointer. With his 38 points, Curry was the best scorer of the evening. LeBron James scored 31 points and, together with Austin Reaves (26 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists), made up for the absence of Anthony Davis, who was ruled out with an ankle injury.
Mikal Bridges and Victor Wembanyama fought a personal duel in the New York Knicks' 117:114 win over the San Antonio Spurs. Thanks to 41 points from Bridges, the Knicks were able to defeat the Spurs led by Wembanyama, who scored an outstanding 42 points. The French center also dominated with 18 rebounds as well as four assists and four blocks.
