The Swiss national ice hockey teams each have one player to lament. Fabian Heldner and Lara Stalder are injured.
Fabian Heldner has suffered an upper body injury and will not be able to take part in the Karjala Cup, which takes place this week as part of the Euro Hockey Tour in Helsinki. The Lausanne HC defenseman will return to Switzerland ahead of schedule for further medical examinations.
Lara Stalder has suffered a concussion in training. The EV Zug forward, who already missed Wednesday's game against Finland in Södertälje, Sweden, the second stop of the Women's Euro Hockey Tour, has returned to Switzerland.
