Aurèle Amenda will probably be out for several months.
The 21-year-old Swiss defender suffered a syndesmosis ligament injury on his international debut on Friday and will require surgery, as his club Eintracht Frankfurt announced.
Amenda had played through against Serbia, but left the Swiss camp afterwards to be examined more closely in Frankfurt. The ankle injury was diagnosed there. The club did not say how long the former YB player would be out for.
