Now a new SRG survey has crowned Mona Vetsch the most popular SRF face. 46 percent of respondents voted for the 49-year-old from Thurgau.
In the representative survey on SRG conducted by Sotomo on behalf of the Swiss media company Ringier, 24,720 participants were asked which TV personalities they particularly liked.
Mona Vetsch wins the TV ranking by a wide margin. In second place is "Tagesschau" anchor Florian Inhauser (56) with 40 percent, writes "Blick.ch".
Urs Gredig also makes it into the top ten
"Meteo" boss Thomas Bucheli (63) and "10 vor 10" presenter Arthur Honegger (45) landed in third place with 39% each.
Fourth place is shared by "Tagesschau" news journalist Cornelia Boesch (49) and sports expert and "Donnschtig-Jass" presenter Rainer Maria Salzgeber (54) with 38% each.
TV talk show host Urs Gredig (54) also made it into the top ten in the popularity poll, followed by sports journalist Sascha Ruefer (52). Followed by Urs Leuthard (61), Head of the Federal Parliament editorial team, and "Meteo" presenter Sandra Boner (49).
