Evelyn Burdecki, known from reality TV shows such as 'Promi Big Brother', has built a successful career in television over the last ten years and is financially independent. But despite her success, the 36-year-old is missing something crucial in her life: the desire to become a mother.

The dream of motherhood

Burdecki, who comes from Düsseldorf, wants nothing more than to have children soon. "I'd rather be pregnant with twins today than tomorrow," she revealed in a recent interview. She is aware of the ticking biological clock, but recently learned that her fertility is still intact: "I'm still in the game." All she needs now is the right partner who meets her expectations: independent, honest and by no means boring.

Medical screening as an option

If the search for the ideal father takes longer, Burdecki is thinking about taking medical precautions. She is considering having her eggs frozen in order to be able to realize her desire to have children in the future. However, this process is not without its challenges. "General anesthesia and then actually injecting yourself for ten days - you know that's part of it...", she said in a podcast. The idea of having to inject herself with hormones is acceptable to her, but the general anesthetic worries her greatly. "This general anesthetic kills me," she confesses and is considering having the procedure without anesthesia, despite the pain involved.

For Evelyn Burdecki, freezing the eggs would be a "safety backup" that would take the pressure off her to fulfill her desire to have a child in time.
