Tanja Szewczenko (47) and her family decided to leave Europe last year and start a new life in Dubai. But now another move is on the cards.
Setting off for Germany
In a YouTube video, the former figure skater explained the reasons for the move. She and her family wanted to develop both professionally and personally, and the timing seemed ideal. "If we want to do something again, it's now. We're not in a midlife crisis yet," she explained. However, professional developments have now led to the family packing their bags again. Her husband, Norman Jeschke, has taken over the management of a large construction project in northern Germany.
Temporary return
Tanja Szewczenko emphasized that the experience her husband gained in Dubai led to this new professional opportunity. The stay in Germany is limited to six months. The children will be looked after: the eldest daughter will attend an English-speaking school, while the twins will be looked after in several languages. The question of what will happen to their house in Dubai remains unanswered. Renting it out would be possible, but would restrict its use during the vacations. The family has already found accommodation in Germany, which they have organized for the autumn vacations.
