Charles wants to visit his younger son and especially his grandchildren in the USA. Royal expert Tom Quinn writes this in the British "Mirror".
The King wants to be an "approachable grandfather" for Archie and Lilibet - the problem is the trip to Montecito to visit Harry's children. There is now a possibility, however, as there is a gap in his schedule next month.
Quinn continues to doubt that Harry wants to bring his children to the UK. The author doubles down on this: He had already written in an earlier text that the children would never travel to their father's homeland - nor, incidentally, would Meghan.
"Feud has gone on long enough"
The "conversations" Quinn mentions are said to be about a "private trip" by the king: "He is desperate. He wants to see his grandchildren and thinks it's terrible that they won't remember him as a great grandfather."
King Charles III is also feeling better after his cancer diagnosis and a possible trip to the USA could ease tensions with Harry. "Enough is enough, this feud has gone on long enough. Charles really wants to put it to bed - but he also knows that this has to happen in Meghan and Harry 's new home. Also because of the grandchildren," a source told the Mirror.
At the moment, Camilla and William are resisting the trip. She is very worried about the King's health. The heir to the throne, on the other hand, "shows no understanding" for the desire to see Harry.
