- Patent Ochsner played at the sold-out festival on July 19.
- blue Music met Büne Huber after their legendary performance on the main stage.
- In an interview, the musician talks about the gig, a possible retirement and the loss of a beloved friend.
When the whole Gurten sings along to the songs of Patent Ochsner - there are really no words for that, Büne Huber tells blue Music host Bettina Bestgen after the concert on Friday.
"It's simply overwhelming", you come on stage and the love is already coming towards you. "I wish everyone in the world could experience something like this," says Büne Huber. He is referring to the power that surges towards the band when they take to the stage.
Can you get sick of this feeling? "You tend to come off stage and have a bit of megalomania," believes Bünä, but this feeling changes again within the next hour or two.
After all, at 62 you know what you can and can't do - and who you are, says Bünä and laughs.
Fortunately, there is no retirement in his profession, he says: "Musicians like me just carry on until the pit - or until no one is listening anymore." He laughs.
In the interview, you can hear how his lyrics are created, how he dealt with the death of a friend and why it wasn't easy for him to play at the Gurten this time.
