From Switzerland to the Ivory Coast: reggae singer Dodo is traveling back to his roots and has his mobile music studio with him in a shipping container. And you can be part of his adventure.
"I'm taking you on a journey, 'Back to my Roots', to Africa. One Love", with these words Dodo begins his latest road trip.
It goes from Basel via Rotterdam down to Cape Town, then back up to Ghana - with the destination Ivory Coast, Dodo's country of longing. The Zurich "Hippie Bus" singer spent the first years of his life there.
Important years that shaped him: "I want to go on a research trip and find out what this longing for Africa is all about, which has driven me all my life," says Dodo.
In search of his roots, Dodo wants to make music with local artists. The whole journey will also be documented in a feature film. What does his "Back to the Roots" road trip sound like? Find out thanks to blue Music on blue News.
