MID games of chance 35 lucky players become lottery millionaires in 2024
The Swisslos and Loterie Romande games produced 35 new millionaires in Switzerland last year. 26 people won their millions via Swiss Lotto, nine via Euromillions.

On average, Swiss Lotto made more than two new millionaires per month, as Loterie Romande announced on Monday.
In addition, 2024 was a historic year, as a lucky player won a record 64.6 million francs on March 2. The previous record was 48.6 million francs and was set in 2014.
Last year, 26 people had one or more millions credited to their account. 23 of them with Swiss Lotto and three with the Joker supplementary game. In Euromillions, nine people won a million in Switzerland - five of them in French-speaking Switzerland - during the new edition of the "Millionaire Rain" on November 22.
There have also already been two lottery millionaires this year: on January 8, one person won CHF 11.56 million and another person won CHF 1 million. The winning tickets were played in the Fribourg region and in Morges VD.
