EV Zug is the women's cup winner for the first time. The Central Swiss team won the final against Fribourg-Gottéron 5:3.
Zug trailed 0:2 and 2:3 in the arena in Lausanne, but had an answer each time. The woman of the match was clearly Lara Stalder, who was involved in all the goals with three goals and two assists. The Zug team thus gained revenge for last year's defeat in the final, when they lost 2:1 to SC Bern after extra time.
Ambri clearly won the match for third place against Davos 7:2.
