Genève-Servette has signed forward Jason Akeson for the next two seasons. In addition, young forward Simas Ignatavicius joins the professional team.

The 34-year-old Canadian Akeson currently plays for HC Pustertal in South Tyrol and has experience from the German ice hockey league and the NHL.

Genève-Servette's contingent of foreigners will not be burdened by the new signings. Akeson is married to a Swiss woman and should have a Swiss passport from September. The 17-year-old Lithuanian Ignatavicius plays with a Swiss license.
