Golf superstar Tiger Woods has undergone another operation on his back. This involved treating constricted nerves in the lower part of his spine.
Woods announced this on X. "I hope this will alleviate the spasms and pain in my back that I experienced for most of the 2024 season," wrote the 48-year-old.
Woods last experienced a sporting debacle in July with his early exit from the British Open and subsequently declared his season over prematurely. His return had previously been scheduled for the beginning of December.
Following his numerous operations and a serious car accident in February 2021, in which he broke his right leg several times, Woods now only competes in a few selected tournaments.
