One month before the European Championship in Basel, the Swiss women's handball team got themselves in the perfect mood for the highlight. They won all three games at the tournament in Cluj, Romania.
Within 42 hours, the Swiss won against three other European Championship participants, against Turkey (37:26), Romania (36:27) and finally on Sunday morning against North Macedonia (27:22). The top scorer against North Macedonia was the outstanding Daphne Gautschi with eight goals.
