The Swiss women's team remains unblemished after six games at the European Curling Championships in Lohja in the south of Finland. The team around skip Silvana Tirinzoni wins against Turkey 10:4.
After two defeats at the start of the tournament, Turkey have now won three games in a row. The Swiss quartet nipped the Southeast Europeans' upswing in the bud right from the start. The score was 7:0 after just three ends and there was no more tension. After the eighth end and two more points for Switzerland, the Turks gave up.
In the seventh round, the defending champions from CC Aarau will face Sweden in the evening (from 18:00) in the top match.
The Swiss men's team will play the 6th round of the Round Robin in the afternoon (from 13.00). Skip Yannick Schwaller's team, who were beaten twice on Monday, will be aiming for their fourth win against England, who are still winless.
