The women's national team leaves the second tournament of the Euro Hockey Tour without any points. Coach Colin Muller's team lost 3-0 to the Czech Republic in the third game in Södertälje, Sweden.
At the end of August in Kloten at the first event of the newly created women's Euro Hockey Tour, the Swiss defeated the Czech Republic 2:1 on penalties. This time, not only was Alina Müller missing, who is not yet sufficiently advanced after a hip operation, but also Laura Stalder, who suffered a concussion in training before the tournament.
Without the two best players, the offense lacked the necessary punch. Only against Sweden (1:2) did the Swiss manage to score a goal; in the first game against Finland they also lost 3:0.
