The snowboard finals at the Big Air Chur took place on Saturday evening without any Swiss participation. Ariane Burri and the five competing Swiss men fail to qualify.
Veteran Nicolas Huber, who was most likely to make it to the final, had to settle for 38th place after two failed attempts - ten places behind team-mate Alex Lotorto. Ariane Burri also failed twice and only finished 22nd out of the 30 participants.
The finals start at 20:00. For the remaining Europeans, Americans and New Zealanders, the aim will be to break the Japanese-South Korean dominance.
