The Swiss bobsleigh association Swiss Sliding is having to reorganize its personnel. As reported by "Blick" on Saturday, Rico Peter, head of the bobsleigh division, has handed in his notice.
When asked by the newspaper, managing director Roger Clavadetscher confirmed the departure of the former World Cup pilot, who won the World Championship bronze medal in the four-man bobsleigh in 2016. As head coach, Peter was also the contact person for the athletes in the association.
The 40-year-old from Aargau is said to have accepted a job offer from the private sector. The association is now working "at full speed" to find a successor, according to reports.
