Sven Schurtenberger ends the Jubilee Festival in Appenzell with a serious injury. The 32-year-old from Lucerne tore a cruciate ligament in his right knee.
The mishap occurred in 4th gear, in the fight against Adrian Walther. The Bernese touched Schurtenberger's right knee during an attack. The Central Swiss remained lying down after the incident. He was later carried out of the arena on a stretcher.
It is not yet clear whether the injury will require an operation. Conservative treatment is also possible.
