HC Davos binds Sven Jung to the club one year before the end of his contract until 2031.
The National League club has extended the contract with the 29-year-old defenseman ahead of schedule for another six years. The new contract is therefore valid up to and including the 2030/2031 season.
Born in Bern, Jung has been playing for the HCD's first team since 2014 and currently has 556 games for the Graubünden national team. He won World Championship silver with the Swiss national team last season.
"Sven Jung has established himself as an indispensable pillar of the team in recent years. With his consistency, his tireless commitment and his defensive strength, he has made a decisive contribution to the fact that HCD has repeatedly played in the top ranks of the table in recent seasons," the club wrote in the announcement of the early contract extension.
