Delphine Darbellay celebrated her first victory in the European Cup in her home canton of Valais. The 22-year-old won the second giant slalom in Zinal, beating the competition by 69 hundredths and more.
Darbellay led a strong Swiss team that finished in the top 10 four times. Janine Schmitt, who had finished third on the podium the day before, came fourth, while Dania Allenbach and Janine Mächler finished fifth and tenth respectively.
