Lenz Hächler celebrates his first victory in the European Cup at his home race in Zinal. The junior world champion in the slalom shows that he can also excel in the giant slalom.
The 21-year-old from Zug, who has previously competed twice in the World Cup but was eliminated both times, won the race in Valais with a lead of almost half a second over the first runner-up. Two days after Delphine Darbellay's victory, he thus secured the second Swiss giant slalom success in the European Cup.
