The Swiss men's team achieved a must-win against the Netherlands at the European Curling Championships in Lohja in the south of Finland with a view to possibly qualifying for the semi-finals.
Skip Yannick Schwaller's team prevailed 8:6.
The Swiss now have five wins and two defeats. In the evening, they face the Norwegians (4 wins/3 losses). The round robin concludes on Thursday with a clash against Italy.
