Scottie Scheffler continues to clean up. The world number one and Olympic champion also wins the season finale of the US PGA Tour, the FedEx Cup.

The 28-year-old superstar from the USA won at the East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta with a lead of four or more strokes over his compatriots Collin Morikawa and Sahith Theegala. Scottie Scheffler collected a gigantic bonus of 25 million dollars for winning the annual ranking. Scheffler started the final tournament of the 2023/24 season with a lead of two or more strokes over the competition based on the leaderboard.

Scheffler dominates the half of the golf scene that has remained loyal to the US PGA Tour. In addition to his success in Atlanta, he has won six tournaments on the PGA Tour this season - including the prestigious Masters in Augusta for the second time. Scheffler was also in a class of his own at the Olympic Games in Paris, winning the gold medal.
