Figure skater Kimmy Repond is on course for a second European Championship medal after the short program at the European Championships in Tallinn.
With 68.68 points, the 18-year-old from Basel is in 3rd place behind Georgia's Anastasia Gubanova and Estonia's Niina Petrokina.
The top three are within less than half a point of each other. The final is scheduled for Friday evening in the Estonian capital.
In the pairs, the Swiss duo Oxana Vouillamoz/Tom Bouvart qualified for the free skate of the best 16 with 13th place in the short program. The first medal decision of the European Championships will take place on Thursday evening.
