Ragettli secured his second top three finish in the fifth and final competition of the World Cup season in the French Alps. At the beginning of the winter, the 26-year-old from Graubünden also finished in 2nd place in Stubai.

Ragettli, who was still in the lead after the first run with 84.43 points, was almost six points behind winner Hall. Thanks to his second win of the season (after Aspen in February), the American also came out on top in the discipline rankings. If Ragettli had prevailed in Tignes, he would have won the slopestyle crystal globe for the fifth time.

The Freestyle World Championships begin next Tuesday in Engadin. Ragettli is one of the top favorites for the title in his home country, where he celebrated his last World Cup victory to date in March 2024. He won World Championship gold in Aspen in 2021 and took World Championship bronze two years ago in Georgia.
