The newly crowned cycling world champion Tadej Pogacar wins his first race in the rainbow jersey. The Slovenian triumphed for the first time at the Giro dell'Emilia on Saturday.
The season's dominator attacked in the first of five passages of the San Luca climb around 40 km before the finish and won after 215 km with a lead of almost two minutes over Britain's Tom Pidcock and Italy's Davide Piganzoli.
