The 24-year-old from Aargau made an impressive return to the national competition stage in Zurich-Oerlikon. She won the championship titles from both the 1m and 3m boards.
In February 2024, Michelle Heimberg missed out on qualifying for the Summer Games in Paris at the World Championships in Doha. Heimberg then took a break from competition to deal with the disappointment.
Last summer, her motivation returned. Since then, Michelle Heimberg has been back in training. Heimberg, who can prepare for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles as a temporary military soldier, set a points record from the 3m board (333.75).
