Marco Krattiger and Florian Breer, the Swiss beach volleyball champions, are going their separate ways after four years.
The two announced this on Instagram. The 30-year-old Krattiger and Breer, who is five years younger, wrote that they had experienced many highlights together, most notably winning the "King of the Court" in Utrecht.
In addition to their triumph at the top-class invitational tournament in the first year of their partnership, Krattiger/Breer reached the quarter-finals in Gstaad in 2022 and secured Switzerland a quota place for the 2021 Olympic Games in Tokyo (which went to Mirco Gerson/Adrian Heidrich). They won the Swiss Championships twice.
