Louis Droupy sets the second Swiss record at the title fights on the last day of the short course championships in Sursee.

The breaststroke specialist from French-speaking Switzerland took his second victory at this year's national championships in the 100 m breaststroke in 58.27 s, having already triumphed in the 200 m.

Droupy beat Yannick Käser's previous record time by 34 hundredths of a second and also beat the limit for the short course world championships, which will take place in Budapest from December 10 to 15.

Gian-Luca Gartmann's victory in the 200 m medley with a time of 1:57.83 also met the requirement for the World Championships in Budapest. His performance was one of the highlights of the three-day event, alongside the Swiss records set by Droupy and Noè Ponti in the 50 m crawl and the World Championships limits met by Ponti (in addition to the 50 m crawl, also 100 m dolphin and 100 m medley), Roman Mityukov (200 m backstroke) and Marius Toscan (400 m medley).
