Lausanne continues to fly through the National League. The Vaud side celebrated their eighth win in a row with a 3-1 victory in Lugano on Friday evening and remain five points clear at the top of the table, while the Ticino side remain in second-last place after their third defeat in a row.

But the chasing pack are hot on the heels of LHC. Second-placed SC Bern (5-1) and third-placed ZSC Lions (1-0) did not show any weakness against bottom-placed Ajoie and SCL Tigers (7th) respectively.

Ambri-Piotta lost at home to Genève-Servette (1:2) after overtime and had to let Geneva pass them by.

Rapperswil-Jona Lakers celebrated the only home win of the evening apart from SCB, beating Kloten 5-2 thanks to three goals in the final period.
