Lausanne HC has prematurely terminated the contract with Ronalds Kenins. The Latvian forward will continue his career in a new place.

Lausanne HC and Ronalds Kenins have agreed to end their collaboration early. The Latvian forward's contract, which was originally set to run until 2026, has been terminated with immediate effect. This decision was made by mutual agreement.

Last season, Kenins was increasingly sidelined at the playoff finalists. In the current season, he only played for Sierre in the Swiss League. During his six seasons with Lausanne, the Latvian with a Swiss license scored a total of 129 points in 310 games.

The future of the 33-year-old Kenins, who won the Swiss championship title with the ZSC Lions in 2012, 2014 and 2018, remains uncertain. It remains to be seen where he will continue his career.
