Coach's netminder Lars Leuenberger continues to roll up the field from behind with HC Fribourg-Gottéron. These are the facts of Tuesday's full round.

After two defeats after overtime, HC Fribourg-Gottéron returned to winning ways. The match-winners in the 3-2 win over EV Zug in front of their home crowd were the Swedes Lucas Wallmark and Marcus Sörensen, who each scored a goal and an assist in the middle third from 1-1 to 3-1. The 1:0 by Sandro Schmid (15.) must be attributed to the Zug keeper Leonardo Genoni, as he let himself be caught in the near corner. In the final period, the central Swiss only managed to score the equalizer through defender Leon Muggli (46'). Fribourg thus also scored in the twelfth game under coach Lars Leuenberger, winning for the eighth time. It was their third success in a row against EVZ, who had previously won three consecutive away games.

Zadina's hat-trick

The 25-year-old Czech Filip Zadina decided the game between HC Davos and EHC Kloten (4:1). Zadina scored a hat-trick from 0:1 to 4:1 to secure victory. Zadina scored three goals in the same game for the second time in the National League. Zadina's hat trick was only his eighth in the league this season. In the last ten years, there have always been more hat tricks - the most in the 2019/2020 season (23). Davos won again for the first time after two defeats. They had only won three times in the previous eight rounds. Pontus Aberg, who joined Kloten from the Lakers, scored for the second time in the third game for his new club. And in the game in which the 31-year-old Swede did not score, Aberg scored three assists.

Bern's lightning start

SC Bern got back on track after six defeats in a row. The 3:2 win against the Rapperswil-Jona Lakers was followed by a 4:1 win against EHC Biel. The Bernese led 3-0 after just eight minutes thanks to goals from Victor Ejdsell, Austin Czarnik and Marc Marchon. The SCB made a lot out of very little (4 shots on goal) in this initial phase. Lias Andersson reduced the deficit to 1:3 for Biel in the second period, but that was as good as it got for the Seelanders. Biel has won just one of its last eleven away games (in Langnau).

Three series come to an end

The ZSC Lions managed to come back from a deficit twice against the Rapperswils-Jona Lakers, but then had no answer to Philip Holm's 2:3 (50th). The Swedish defenseman scored shortly after the only penalty against the Zurich team in this game had expired. With 21.3 seconds remaining, Nico Dünner made it 4:2 with a shot into the empty net. While ZSC lost again for the first time after four wins, the Lakers ended a run of three defeats. At the same time, it was the Rapperswil team's first win in their fourth duel of the season. They benefited from the fact that the Zurich team was missing five key players due to illness, including goalie Simon Hrubec and Denis Malgin.

Ambri wins penalty shootout

Ambri failed to take advantage of a five-minute overtime spell in the first period after Mark Arcobello (cross-check) was sent to the showers. The Leventines got their revenge in the second period: defender Marco Müller put Lugano ahead in the 24th minute. However, Dominik Kubalik equalized for the home team just six minutes later with his league-leading 24th goal of the season. Ambri extended its lead over Lugano in the race for a play-in spot to two points. Lugano had to go to a penalty shoot-out for the first time this season.

Lausanne's home strength

Lausanne celebrated its eighth home win in a row against the SCL Tigers with a 3-2 victory after overtime. Thanks to 50 saves (!) from goalie Stéphane Charlin, the team from Langnau took a point from the Vaud region. In regulation time, the Emmental team twice made up for a deficit. Damien Riat decided the game in the 64th minute. Riat scored for the second time in overtime and for the first time for Lausanne (after an overtime goal at Servette).

Whistles for Servette

For Genève-Servette Hockey Club - Swiss champions two years ago and Champions League winners a year ago - there were whistles from the frustrated fans at the end of the home game against Ajoie (2:4). Servette led 2-0 against Ajoie until the 39th minute, but then conceded two goals from T.J. Brennan within 40 seconds to equalize. Anttoni Honka (57th) and Julius Nättinen (58th) secured Ajoie's only third away win of the season.
