Diamond League Ingebrigtsen improves world record over 3000 m

Jakob Ingebrigtsen improved an almost 28-year-old world record at the Diamond League meeting in Chorzow, Poland.

The 23-year-old Norwegian clocked 7:17.55 minutes over 3000 m, 3.12 seconds faster than the Kenyan Daniel Komen on September 1, 1996 in Rieti.
