Swiss water jumper Guillaume Dutoit is retiring from competitive sport at the age of 28. This was announced by Swiss Aquatics on Monday.
The Lausanne native has been one of the country's most successful divers in recent years. He took part in six world championships and won silver at the 2014 European Junior Championships. In 2022, he finished fourth in synchronized diving and eighth in individual diving at the World Championships with Jonathan Suckow. In the same year, he finished fourth in both the individual and synchronized diving events at the World Championships.
In 2024, things no longer went according to plan for him due to health problems.
