Robert Lewandwoski still has a contract at Barcelona until 2026, which he reportedly wants to fulfill. According to Mundo Deportivo, he could earn up to 100 million euros per season in Saudi Arabia. Will the Pole weaken at this insane sum?
French central defender Jules Koundé still has a contract until the summer of 2027, but is said to be a transfer target of Al-Ittihad. He would line up there alongside N'Golo Kanté, Fabinho and Benzema, among others. However, Koundé himself feels comfortable in Barcelona.
Marc-André ter Stegen recently extended his contract until 2028 and does not appear to have any plans to move. Nevertheless, his name is being bandied about in the media in connection with a move to Saudi Arabia.
Last summer, 28-year-old Clément Lenglet turned down offers from the desert and moved to Aston Villa on loan. Now the French central defender is returning to Barça. The Saudis' interest is apparently undiminished.

In the past season, Hürzeler then pulled off a major coup and promoted Hamburg to the Bundesliga as second division champions.

Meeting between Tuchel and ManUtd boss

The British billionaire is said to have listened to Tuchel's visions for the future of the English record champions in order to sound out a collaboration for the upcoming season.
Current United coach Erik ten Hag only led the team to eighth place in the last Premier League season and has been criticized as a result. However, the 54-year-old won the FA Cup in the final against champions and city rivals Manchester City - which may have increased his chances of remaining at Old Trafford.
When asked whether there had been any assurances from the club, ten Hag told "Voetbal International" two weeks ago: "That's not necessary. We are going into next season." The speculation surrounding the coaching position at the Red Devils does not seem to be dampened by this.

Maassen is described as a suitable candidate as follows: "Enrico Maassen (40/last Augsburg): Young, dynamic man with an aggressive and offensive style of play. Was recently linked with Nuremberg, but according to Bild is said to be leaning towards another club." This club is apparently FC St. Gallen.

Zeidler is Bochum's fourth coach since promotion in 2021. In Bochum, he replaces the previous interim coach Heiko Butscher, who had taken over the team both after Thomas Reis left in September 2022 and after Reis' successor Thomas Letsch was given leave of absence at the beginning of April 2024 and is returning to the second tier. Former central defender Butscher, who has worked as a youth coach and at times as assistant coach to the professionals in Bochum since his career ended in 2015, will coach VfL's U23 team, which will be relaunched in the summer, and manage the youth center.
Zeidler previously worked in the Bundesliga between 2008 and 2021 as assistant coach to Ralf Rangnick at TSG Hoffenheim, and the 61-year-old has been coaching FC St. Gallen since 2018. VfL reportedly does not have to pay a transfer fee, although his contract runs until 2027.
Now that the search for a new coach has ended just a few days after the relegation success, a new sporting director is still being sought. Now it's final: Hansi Flick becomes Xavi's successor at FC Barcelona
Hansi Flick is the new coach of FC Barcelona. The 59-year-old German succeeds the released Xavi with a two-year contract. The choice of Flick was no longer a surprise. The signing of the former national coach and head coach of Bayern Munich had become apparent in recent days. For their part, the two parties had apparently been preparing the forthcoming collaboration for a long time. Initial contacts are said to have been made several months ago.
The officialization of Flick's installation in the head coach position marks the end of a turbulent phase with Xavi at the center, which is also somehow emblematic of the current state of FC Barcelona. From a sporting point of view, the club is lagging behind its own standards. In the championship, the Catalans clearly lost out in the title duel against rivals Real Madrid, while in the Champions League they were eliminated in the quarter-finals against Paris Saint-Germain. In addition, the long-established club is facing financial bottlenecks, which are making their return to the top even more difficult.
The farce surrounding Xavi began at the end of January, when the former midfielder announced his decision to step down as coach this summer despite having a contract until the end of next season - only to announce just three months later that he would not be leaving prematurely after all. Club president Joan Laporta had successfully persuaded him to do so.
However, it was Laporta and his colleagues in the club management who then brought about the next turnaround. They released Xavi. Statements made by the former world and European champion about the club's financial situation and critical comments regarding the team's competitiveness are said to have prompted the rethink.
Flick is taking on a delicate task in a difficult environment. The expectations in and around the club are enormous, and the pressure on the man from Württemberg is correspondingly high. His predecessor has already warned him in advance. "Be ready, because it won't be easy. You will have to suffer," Xavi said.

Next adventure for ex-FCB coach Fink?

Apparently the amount of the transfer fee is still being discussed, as Fink still has a current contract at St. Truiden. Fink, who succeeded his compatriot Bernd Hollerbach at St. Truiden, led the club to ninth place in the table. Genk still hopes to participate in the Conference League.
Fink has already had an eventful coaching career, including spells in Austria, Switzerland, Cyprus, Japan, Latvia and Saudi Arabia.

The Daily Mail cited unnamed sources in its report on Monday. The club, with whom Guardiola has won the Premier League title six times alone since his arrival - four in a row most recently - hope to continue working with him and will give him time to make a decision, it said.
Guardiola said a week ago: "The reality is that I am closer to leaving than staying. It will be eight years, then it will be nine. My current feeling is that I want to stay next season. We can talk about the future during the season. But after eight or then nine years...", explained the 53-year-old Catalan.

Hot poker for Stuttgart's goal machine Guirassy
Serhou Guirassy scored 28 goals for Stuttgart in the last Bundesliga season and thus played a major part in the runners-up finish. Although his contract with the Swabians runs until June 30, 2026, it contains an exit clause. This is said to be around 18 million euros.
Borussia Dortmund are said to have already put out feelers, but teams from England also have the goal machine on their radar. Meanwhile, Stuttgart's sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth hopes he will stay: "We don't have no chance." And why not? After all, Stuttgart will be playing in the Champions League next season and the 28-year-old Guinean is obviously keen to do so, as the following picture clearly shows.

Allegri's departure from Juventus official
Juventus Turin have parted company with their coach Massimiliano Allegri shortly after winning the cup final. Despite many successes, the 56-year-old was relieved of his post because he went berserk after the 1-0 defeat to Atalanta Bergamo on Wednesday evening. He was first shown a red card. He then insulted and threatened a journalist.
Juve justified the dismissal with "certain behaviors during and after the cup final that are not compatible with the values of the club and its representatives".
Alllegri had been sent to the dressing room prematurely by the referee for arguing with the fourth official in Rome's Olympic Stadium. He then ripped his tie off his neck and stormed off. He then attacked the editor-in-chief of the sports newspaper "Tuttosport", Guido Vaciago.
According to Vaciago, the coach called him a "shitty director" who was spreading lies. He then even pushed him and threatened: "I know where I have to wait for you. I'll come and rip both your ears off. I'll come and punch you in the face."
Juventus are currently fourth in Serie A and have already qualified for the Champions League. Allegri would have missed the last two games anyway due to a ban imposed by the league. According to media reports, U19 coach Paolo Montero will take over coaching duties for the remaining games until the end of the season.

Feyenoord coach Slot confirms move to Liverpool
Feyenoord Rotterdam coach Arne Slot will take over from Jürgen Klopp at Liverpool FC in the summer. The 45-year-old Dutchman confirmed at a press conference of his current club that he "will be coach at Liverpool next season".
An official confirmation from Liverpool is still pending. However, there has long been speculation about a slot at Anfield Road. The coach himself made no secret of his intentions to move beforehand. "I want to be the new Liverpool coach. My decision is clear," he made clear. According to media reports, Liverpool will transfer around ten million euros to Rotterdam as a transfer fee.
Slot has been working successfully at Feyenoord since the 2021/22 season, where he took over from Dick Advocaat. In his first season, he immediately reached the Conference League final with the club, and a year later he led the Rotterdam club to the league title. Last Sunday, Feyenoord won the Dutch Cup under Slot.

Allegri will leave Juve - will Motta follow?
Massimiliano Allegri's time at Juventus Turin appears to be coming to an end. According to the always well-informed transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Allegri's departure from Turin is a done deal. The only thing that remains to be seen is whether the coach will be released immediately or in a few days' time.
Either way, the season is already over for him. The league handed Allegri a two-match ban and a €5,000 fine on Thursday for his red card in the Coppa Italia final (Juve won 1-0). On his way to the press conference, he allegedly attacked the editor-in-chief of the sports newspaper "Tuttosport", Guido Vaciago. Read more here.
The top candidate to succeed Allegri is Thiago Motta. The 41-year-old could qualify for the Champions League with Bologna and be ready for the next step. According to Romano, Juve have offered Motta a contract until 2027. His decision is still pending.

Bayern bosses apparently want a spectacular Tuchel turnaround
According to consistent media reports, the bosses of FC Bayern now surprisingly want to persuade coach Thomas Tuchel to stay in Munich after all. Sporting director Max Eberl and sporting director Christoph Freund are negotiating with the coach to see if he wants to reverse his decision to leave the club early, as reported by "Bild", "Kicker" and TV channel Sky on Wednesday.
Bayern and Tuchel had announced in February that they would be terminating their contract, which actually runs until 2025, after this season. Since then, however, the club has been unable to find a successor, with several candidates declining. Tuchel, on the other hand, led the team to the semi-finals of the Champions League and, according to reports, has a number of advocates within the team. He himself had recently always said that the deal was done.
Now there are increasing signs that the 50-year-old is about to change his mind. Bild published photos in which Tuchel's advisor Olaf Meinking can be seen at the Säbener Strasse office on Wednesday, while Sky reported that Tuchel is open to staying and has communicated this to individual players.
