6:0 away win Manchester City beat newly promoted Ipswich

Manchester City are back in a scoring mood ahead of the final spurt in the Champions League.

The English champions won 6-0 at newly promoted Ipswich Town in the 22nd round of the Premier League.

Phil Foden scored two goals, as he did a few days ago against Brentford (2:2). Matteo Kovacic, Jérémy Doku, Erling Haaland and James McAtee provided the other goals for the fourth-placed Citizens.

Manuel Akanji played 72 minutes in central defense for Manchester City, who face Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday in a potentially decisive match in the Champions League for a place in the knockout round.
