On 13 January 2025, the best players of the year will be honored at the Swiss Football Night at the Casino Bern. It is now known who has been nominated for the "Iconic" trophy in the various categories.

The following candidates in seven categories are up for election for their achievements in the 2024 calendar year:

The coaches, captains and sporting directors of the 22 Swiss Football League clubs have selected the three nominees in the two categories "Super League Player 2024" and "dieci Challenge League Player 2024". The best three players in the "AXA Women's Super League Player 2024" category were determined by votes from the AWSL clubs. The three nominated players in the four national team categories were determined by an expert jury of national team coaches.

The three players in each category have now been nominated for the public vote. From now until December 3, 2024, fans can cast their votes for the best of the 2024 calendar year at www.swissfootballnight.ch/vote-now. The votes of the fans, the selected media representatives and the expert jury will each count for a third of the final result.
