Ten-man Liverpool FC avoid their second defeat of the season. In the 16th round of the Premier League, the leaders came from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Fulham.

Scotsman Andrew Robertson was shown the red card for an emergency stop in the 17th minute shortly after Fulham had scored their first goal. The ten Liverpool players who remained on the pitch came back for the first time through Cody Gakpo (47), and after the Londoners took the lead again a quarter of an hour before the end, Diogo Jota scored in the 86th minute to make it 2-2. For the Portuguese, who had come on as a substitute seven minutes earlier, it was his first appearance since picking up an injury at the beginning of October.

Because Arsenal only managed a goalless draw at home to Everton, the leaders defended their lead on Saturday. On Sunday, second-placed Chelsea could move closer with a home win against Brentford.
