The 49-year-old Henchoz joined the Super League club on 1 April as an advisor to the general management for a limited period until the end of September - with the aim of assessing the strengths and weaknesses of the sporting organization.
As sports director, the former international will be responsible for all football-related activities at the club, from the first team to the academy and recruitment. Due to his role and responsibilities, Henchoz will also become a member of the general management of the Vaud club.
