Four months after the 1-0 win at Liverpool, the Reds' only defeat in the league so far, Nottingham were ahead for an hour after Chris Wood's early opener. Then substitute Diogo Jota equalized for the visitors.

Although Nottingham dropped points again after six wins, coach Nuno Espirito Santo's side moved past Arsenal into second place, at least temporarily.

Manchester City once again dropped points after two wins. Coach Pep Guardiola's team had to settle for a 2-2 draw at Brentford after leading 2-0. Phil Foden scored twice in the 66th and 78th minutes, but Brentford equalized through Christian Norgaard in the 92nd minute.
