A dream goal from Thibault Klidjé saves FC Luzern a point. The Central Swiss side drew 2-2 at Grasshoppers.
Lucerne carelessly squandered an interval lead at the Letzigrund. At the start of the second 45 minutes, there was much to be said in favor of Mario Frick's team, who had shown a good first half and had also taken the lead through Lars Villiger at almost the best possible moment, just before the break.
Marco Schällibaum, the GC coach, sent his team back onto the pitch with the right information. Success came with crosses. First, Theo Ndicka's delivery found the head of Nikolas Muci (54'), and in the 70th minute it was Awer Mabil who made it 2:1 from half-field for long-serving Lucerne player Pascal Schürpf. It was the 21-year-old Muci's first goal in the Super League.
It was thanks to substitute Klidjé that Lucerne got back into the game. He scored out of nothing with a shot from around 25 meters to make it 2:2 (85') and thus launched the final offensive, in which Pius Dorn had the winning goal at his feet.
