Liverpool FC had no trouble with relegation candidates Ipswich Town in the English Premier League.

Liverpool FC have taken the next step towards the championship. The Reds won 4:1 against relegation candidates Ipswich Town and remain clear leaders in the Premier League. After their 16th win of the season, coach Arne Slot's team remain six points clear of Arsenal FC. The Gunners were somewhat fortunate to win 1-0 at Wolverhampton Wanderers. Liverpool have one game less to play and can extend their lead even further.

Dominik Szoboszlai (11th minute) put the hosts in front. Goalscorer Mohamed Salah with his 19th goal of the season (35') and Dutchman Cody Gakpo (44') increased the lead to 3:0 before the break, with Gakpo again scoring the fourth goal with a header (66'). Ipswich reduced the deficit to 1:4 shortly before the end through Jacob Greaves.
